This is a beautiful new-build house with extensive land to the rear and development space to the front and side.

This will be a two to three stage design with the client favouring a Tuscan / Mediterranean feel to the main garden including an outdoor kitchen and patio, further zones provide fabulous opportunities for a wildlife garden, orchard and vegetable garden, a really exciting project for the medium term.

For now plans are drawn up to revamp the front and side gardens, providing solutions for the multi height and difficult shape. This garden for the children will include areas for socialising, a sunken trampoline play area and lawn. Planting will be low maintenance with grasses and perennials and splashes of colour through gravelled borders. All defined by a low level box hedge which meanders its way through the length of the garden.

I can’t wait to see how the children complete the overall feel by finishing the area with furniture, decorations hanging from the trees and splashes of colour on the fence panels, after all this is their space.
