I’m very proud to be the owner of Mike Flannery Garden Design.

I’ve had a successful career in senior commercial roles for over 30 years but it was a long way from where I originally thought my career would take me. I always had a love of design and gardening and hoped I would succeed at it. Now, I have; just with a diversion along the way.  

To enable me to return to what I love most, I recently graduated from the National Design Academy in Professional Garden Design. Armed with my knowledge and experience, formal qualifications and enthusiasm, I’m enjoying creating gardens for people who need some guidance on both small and large scales.

Our gardens can be enjoyed in a variety of ways – as an extension to our home or as a horticultural space that requires ongoing care and attention, or a mixture of both. For many, it’s also about exploring ways of encouraging nature to enjoy our gardens and to create outdoor spaces that balance practicality and sustainability, whilst also being an area to relax, entertain and enjoy.
